About this Event
We are excited to announce that we will break ground on our new Bay Area Animal Resource Center (BAARC) in May! The BAARC will be located at our current Adoption Center at 2700 Ninth Street. Recently, we have transitioned to a foster-based adoption program, and we are eager to welcome new dog and puppy fosters. The more fosters we have, the more animals we can save!
To attend the orientation, you must obtain a ticket through Eventbrite. This one-hour session is your first step toward becoming a Dog Foster volunteer at Berkeley Humane. During the orientation, you will learn about our organization, volunteer protocols and policies, as well as how to care for foster dogs and understand your responsibilities.
After the orientation, Berkeley Humane staff will be available to answer your questions and learn more about your living situation so we can best match you with our animals!
Please note that foster volunteers must be 18 years or older.
