Outside the front of The Salutation Inn, Ham, near Berkeley. GL13 9QH.
Parking anywhere in the village to leave at 6:15pm (Please car share where possibly).
Eat your dinner before the walk starts but please do bring your cake and a hot drink for both the Sunset and Full Moonrise stops.
This is an 8.5 mile walk, Past Berkeley Castle, Berkeley Power station, along the river Severn, and then back through the Deer Park for Deer spotting.
We will catch Sunset just before entering the Deer Park, and the Blue Moon, Full Moonrise an hour later as we leave the deer park.
Sunset time is 9:18pm.
You may want torches whilst walking through the deer park, hopefully catching loads of Deer. Nearing the end of the deer park we should catch the Blue Moon Full Moonrise at 10:15pm in a South Easterly direction.
After spotting the Full Moon we are very close to the end of the walk.
-This walk could have cattle in some fields, so it is not dog friendly, especially because we are walking through the deer park at dusk.
