Bento Con is a small comic book convention that will take place at the New Castle Public Library. What is bento? It is a Japanese word that means small and compact. Many people use bento boxes to make their lunches and snacks.
Like the bento box this event will be small, compact but full of incredibly talented people from all over the tri-state area. Artists, vendors and writers that cater to fans of comic books, anime, cartoons and video games that have become part of mainstream culture.
For 2026, Bento is in a bit of a transition. After the closure of our previous venue we’ve had to get creative. So, for this year, Bento will be a micro con! While things have reduced a bit, the up side is that attendance is COMPLETELY FREE!
