Benno Marmur

New York–based guitarist Benno Marmur brings a refined and deeply expressive voice to the stage, shaped by years of performance alongside some of today’s most respected jazz artists. A regular presence at renowned venues such as Smalls, Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Dizzy’s Club, and Minton’s Playhouse, Benno has developed a sound that is at once rooted in tradition and alive with spontaneity.

Having shared the bandstand with artists including Chris Potter, Vincent Herring, Grant Stewart, and Bill Charlap, his playing reflects a rare combination of technical clarity, lyrical sensitivity, and rhythmic vitality.
