In July 2025, Wendy was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive spindle cell cancer after finding a growth under her tongue. Wendy has since endured a major surgery that removed part of her tongue and multiple lymph nodes, followed by reconstruction, many weeks of radiation, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and ongoing recovery. She has faced complications, infections, and extended hospital stays. Throughout this journey, Wendy has shown incredible strength, grace, and faith, supported by her husband Dan and incredible daughters, Taylor, Megan, and Sara. As they continue to navigate treatment, recovery, and ongoing medical care, the financial burden from medical bills, lodging, travel, and lost income continues to grow.
All donations and prayers help ease this burden and allow Wendy, Dan, and the girls to focus on healing and hope.
