If you know Velma, you know she is a light in our community. She’s the person who shows up, lends a hand, supports others, and is always ready to help when someone needs it.
Now it’s our turn to show up for her.
Join us at VFW Post 8790 on Saturday, September 12th from 12–6 PM for an afternoon of good food, music, community, and giving back to someone who has given so much to others.
We’ll have jambalaya plates with charro beans & a roll for $15, sno-balls for $5, and a silent auction with some great items to bid on. Proceeds from the food, sno-balls, and silent auction will go directly toward helping Velma with her medical expenses.
The VFW bar will be open for refreshments throughout the event, and DJ Danny O has generously donated his services to keep the music going and the atmosphere lively all afternoon.
