My longtime neighbor David Bird passed away last year. His beloved parrot "Cookie" was left homeless so the kind people at The Berkshire Bird Paradise took him to their sanctuary. We are raising funds to help with the cost of his care. Please come on March 20th at 6pm for a fun evening to create a stained glass Bird and enjoy themed drinks and refreshments. A signature drink of "Bird Of Paradise" will be served. $40 per person includes all stained glass supplies, drinks, food, and door prize raffle. Venmo or contact me to secure your spot before this fills up. Here is some information about the Berkshire Bird Paradise-
About Us
From Passion to Paradise
Berkshire Bird Paradise is a sanctuary for injured and lost birds in Petersburg, New York. Nestled along the popular Grafton State Park, the sanctuary has become one of the largest bird rehabilitation and rescue centers in the Northeast, providing a home to hundreds of disabled and non-releasable birds. Our founder, Peter Dubacher, dedicated his life to caring for these incredible creatures and educating the public about their importance in our ecosystem. Year round care is given to their avian guests, but only in the summer is the public allowed to visit.
