Dear Family and Friends,
We’re writing to you with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit, asking for your continued support for Joe Norcross and for your help to uplift and carry him. He’s a Father, Husband, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, and Friend, and truly one of the best people we know. Joe is currently facing an unimaginable battle. He’s recently been diagnosed with stage 3 oral squamous cell carcinoma.
This news has been devastating not only to him but also to his family. Especially to his children Chloe, Reese, and Jimmy, and friends and the many who love him. Anyone who truly knows a thing about Joe knows, he’s the first one there when someone is in need. No questions asked, and he will always find a way to help. He’s the first person on call and will check in and be there, without hesitation. To know him is to love him; he would do anything for anyone and has! He is honestly one of the best men you will ever meet. Joe has spent so much of his life taking care of others, including stepping up when things got heavy for others. He never fell short and has continued being the go-to person for so many.
Right now, Joe needs to feel uplifted and surrounded by all of our love, with care, support, prayers, and it’s time for us to rally around him during his time of need. In the coming weeks, Joe will be undergoing 6 weeks of intense radiation and chemotherapy. Unfortunately, he will need to travel and will be away from his Family & his support system, and we are asking for all your help to show him he’s not in this alone! We fight with him and for him! The mental, emotional, and physical toll of this diagnosis has had a substantial Impact on his well-being, including the added stress and worry of the upcoming financial burden, which has been overwhelming. This shouldn’t be his top concern or focus, but unfortunately, it is also. If he doesn’t have the funds, he will not be able to stay for the 6 weeks and receive the much-needed treatments.
Let’s band together to fight this terrible disease! Our family is reaching out for your help and support as we all try to be there for Joe during this incredibly tough time. Even though things are tough, Joe’s spirit is strong, and his determination to fight is truly inspiring. Let’s come together to show Joe how much he means to us and how much we’re all here for him. With your help, we believe Joe can beat this cancer diagnosis and live the long, happy life he deserves.
We’re putting on this benefit to help raise funds to cover Joe’s medical costs, travel expenses, and any other expenses that might come up during this challenging time. Your financial support will help ease Joe’s burden and allow him to focus on what really matters: his health and recovery!
