Janelle Stahl Ladbury, a devoted mother of 3, a wife, volunteer and dedicated Spartan school counselor was diagnosed with cancer in December 2023. She has been fighting this disease since then with the support of her family, friends and colleagues. Janelle’s treatments have included numerous rounds of chemotherapy and immunotherapy at Roger Maris Cancer Center; however, Janelle also travels to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN frequently as part of her medical journey and treatment plan. Janelle currently is continuing to receive chemotherapy, IV fluids and iron infusions to battle the disease and side effects of treatment.
A benefit to support Janelle and her family with costs associated with treatment, travel, lodging and food will be held on Thursday, May 29 at the Fargo Air Museum from 5-8 pm. The mobile blood bank will also be present for those willing to donate blood as blood transfusions are a vital component of treatment for many cancer patients.
