On September 9th, Jamie was diagnosed with Infiltrating Ductal Carcinoma, which unfortunately turned out to be Triple Negative Breast Cancer. TNBC makes up 10-15% breast cancer, is the most difficult to treat, and has an extremely high rate of reoccurrence to lungs, bones, liver, brain and kidneys.Jamie has completed 24 rounds of chemotherapy and received immunotherapy every three weeks.
She will need a double mastectomy and a total hysterectomy. She will be not be able to work for 2 to 3 months; she also needs to undergo more testing for skin cancer.
Jamie has lived in Kewaunee since she was 4 years old. She has one grown son Joshua Kuehl. Jamie has worked and helped at many local establishments in Kewaunee County. Including but definitely not limited to, serving on the City Council, Kewaunee Area Chamber of Commerce Volunteer, and most recently Ducks Unlimited for Kewaunee and other areas.
Any donations or funds will be used for mounting medical bills.
An account has been set up at Nicolet National Bank. Cash donations can be made directly at any Kewaunee County Branch under Benefit for Jamie Sperber. Bucket or silent auction items can be dropped off at Wildflower Supper Club.
A benefit will be held May 4th, 2025 at the Wildflower Supper Club located at 306 Ellis Street Kewaunee, WI 54216.
