Join us for a benefit for James Ransier onSaturday February 28th, 2026 at Britches’ Dance Bar.
The Recipient:
At the age of 52, James was initially diagnosed with pneumonia, covid, and has since been on oxygen for breathing assistance in 2021. After James’ initial diagnosis he continued to struggle with his health for the next 4+years. In 2023, James was recommended to a pulmonologist for lung replacement only later to be also diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2024. Since James’ most recent diagnosis, he has been traveling to New York City specialists for treatments. In 2025, James is officially listed on the lung transplant list at the age of 57.
