Hannah has been diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome, a rare and serious neurological condition in which the immune system attacks the nerves. The illness progressed rapidly. She had lost all movement and sensation from the neck down and was unable to breathe on her own.Hannah was airlifted to Froedtert Hospital where she sought lifesaving treatment by their amazing staff!
While Guillain-Barré Syndrome is treatable, recovery is often long and unpredictable. Doctors are preparing the family for a recovery timeline that could take weeks or even months, followed by extensive physical therapy and rehabilitation.
During this time, her husband is doing everything possible to stay close to her—temporarily relocating near the hospital while trying to manage work, travel, and the emotional weight of this unimaginable situation. The financial strain of medical care, transportation, housing changes, time away from work, and daily living expenses is already significant and continues to grow, especially with their young family.
We are asking the community—friends, co-workers, family, and compassionate strangers alike—to help support Hannah’s family during the fight of their lives.
This event will include DJ/ karaoke, bake sale, and raffles!
Food and drinks are available upon your own purchase.
Please contact the host of the event if you’re interested in donating raffle goodies!
