Fundraiser for Curt Mercer — August 23 at The SomA few months ago, our dear friend and long-time cook, Curt Mercer, was the victim of a random and violent act that left him severely injured. It was unexpected, frightening, and heartbreaking for all of us who know him.
Curt is not only a hard worker and a pillar in our kitchen — he’s one of the kindest, most gentle souls we’ve ever met. His quiet strength and courage throughout this recovery has been nothing short of incredible.
We’re hosting a fundraiser at The Som on August 23 to rally around Curt and help support him in the long road ahead. Whether you’ve worked alongside him, shared a beer with him, or just want to stand up for goodness in this world — we hope you’ll join us.
