The Haywood Choral Society is pleased to invite the public to an evening of singing entertainment performed by four of our members, Lee Thomas, Patricia Sands, Valeria Raymond and Renée Alsbrook. The concert will benefit the Haywood Choral Society and will be on Thursday, August 21, at 7:00 pm at The First United Methodist Church of Waynesville 566 S. Haywood Street, Waynesville. There is no set admission charge, however contributions will be much appreciated to support future endeavors by the Choral Society.
Musical selections to be performed are from Broadway and Opera and include such titles as “It’s A Grand Night for Singing”, “Fly, Fly Away”, “Empty Chairs and Empty Tables”, “Make Them Hear You”, “Night and Day”, “Soave Sia Il Vento”, “Voi Che Sapete”, “Non So Piu Cosa Son”, “I Loves You Porgy”, “Move On”, “Send in the Clowns” and several other memorable show tunes, arias and folk songs.

If you can't make this concert, it will be repeated in Asheville, NC.
However, the second concert will benefit the Asheville Area Piano Forum Scholarship Fund and will be on Sunday, August 24 at 4:00 at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 337 Charlotte Street, Asheville.
