‼️PLEASE EVERYONE SHARE THIS EVENT‼️
Having a benefit cruise in for Ashley Freeman. If anyone doesn’t know, she is currently battling breast cancer and her medical bills are adding up. So I wanted to try and ease that burden as much as I can.
During Hurricane Helene she worked day and night to help people in her community. It was honestly an amazing thing to witness. Putting others before herself. Taking loads of supplies to Avery, Mitchell, and Yancey counties. Helping cut trees out of roads in the community. All while still managing the office here at James Oxygen. Where she also gave out supplies to anyone that needed them! Crazy thing is, she never expected anything in return. Then or even now. Well now she is in need and I think the community that she has helped so much should give back to her.
I am completely doing this on my own. If anyone would like to volunteer to help I would greatly appreciate it. I don’t need a lot of people but 3 or 4 would help greatly.
Anyone that would like to donate, please do so at the event. I will have a 5 gallon bucket with a lid that you can put donations in.
If you can’t make it to the event and want to donate money or a raffle item, please message me directly and I will write your name down and find a way to get it before the event.
Either myself or someone will be going around to all the businesses in the county putting up flyers and asking for donations. If you are a business and would like to donate money or items for the raffle, please message me directly. You will be massively mentioned at the event.
We will also have Soulfood Island food truck for the length of the event. The best comfort food you could ever ask for!
We will have a raffle. Anyone that brings a motorcycle or a hot rod will get a free raffle ticket. Anyone attending can buy raffle tickets at the event.
We will also have a couple of games for people to enter. We will have a prize for winners.
I’ll go ahead and thank anyone that helps or comes to the event. Thank you to Anthony Justin Lewis for donating the flyer!! Looks amazing!! And thanks to James Oxygen & Supply for use of the property. It’s just a couple of hours but it will help so very much!
