About this Event
This performance at John P. Franklin Funeral Home invites you to remember differently—to look beyond Pleasant Garden Cemetery as a final resting place and recognize it as a living record of Black Chattanooga history.
Dive into 12 captivating performance monologues that bring history and stories to life in a place where many people mourned their loss decades ago.
Through storytelling, performance, and remembrance, Chattanooga legends will have the opportunity to speak again—sharing stories shaped by love, perseverance, sacrifice, faith, community, and an unwavering commitment to a place they called home.
