benchwarmers are an indie-rock trio based in Wollongong/Dharrawal. The band merges deeply personal, 'confessional' lyricism with a range of influences, pulling from 90's slacker rock, noise pop, bedroom pop, and a respectful dash of country. This all comes together for a sound that's nostalgic, fresh, lively, soothing, comedic and tragic all at the same time.
After a busy first year on the scene, benchwarmers are headed to La La La’s for their headline debut. They’re warmed up, geared up, and with a little help from St. Slime and LIKHWA (Sydney), are ready to step up to bat!
