Ben V. Greene will read from his new book, My Child Is Trans, Now What?: A Joy-Centered Approach to Support. An LGBTQ+ public speaker with years of experience, he's been featured on TEDx and has led workshops for SHRM Annual, NASA, The Department of the Interior, and more. My Child Is Trans, Now What? is a resource guide for families, loved ones, and allies to transgender people and is both joy-centered and focused on trans experiences with an aim for tactical strategies for support. Booklist praises his book as "an accesible, nonjudgemental primer [that]...will help a wide range of readers to support and celebrate children who are trans, nonbinary, and questioning."Ben V. Greene is a public speaker, LGBTQ+ inclusion consultant, and openly transgender man. Ben has dedicated his career to spreading empathy, awareness, and understanding about the transgender community. He is active on the speaking circuit, with audiences ranging from the UK’s Diversity Live! to NASA. Ben is a guest lecturer on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Cornell University in addition to serving on the board of the Tufts Master’s Degree in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. He resides in St. Louis, Missouri.
