BELOW THE BELT
by Richard Dresser
Directed by Jim Harris
November 12-14 at 7:30PM

Ronald Q. Frederickson Theatre
A carceral industrial compound, in a stranded and undisclosed location, where two men, the determined Dobbitt and the hot-tempered Hanrahan, check unknown products under the leadership of department head, Merkin. This environment is dominated by corporate bureaucracy, and none of them can say they particularly enjoy it. With this environment continuing to dehumanize them, comical encounters ensue through many different peculiar situations. As the three men hilariously navigate a futile hunger for a higher worth, and mysterious pairs of eyes spectate in the distance, Richard Dresser’s Below the Belt is a gripping and hysterical absurdist satire that brings dark humor to the maximum.
Content Warning: This production involves elements such as language, violence, and suggestive dialogue.
