Belonging Begins Within by Tala
A Somatic Workshop for Mental Health Awareness Month
This Mental Health Awareness Month, Belonging Matters invites us to explore what it means to belong to community, each other and ourselves. This experiential workshop explores how stress and trauma are held within the body, creating protective patterns that shape how we experience the world. Through movement, awareness and embodied practices, you’ll learn to recognise where your body holds tension, listen to its innate intelligence and create greater safety, trust and connection within yourself.
Moving through Be Active, Give, Keep Learning, Connect and Take Notice, this workshop is an invitation to come home to your body… because belonging begins within.
Time and venue: 9am - 1pm, Wānaka Community Hub auditorium, 34 McDougall Street.
