Bellydance Workshop for Alt Women | Learn, Move, Connect

Come solo, leave with friends 💅

This is not your average bellydance class — it’s dark, feminine, hypnotic, and designed for alternative female-identifying people looking for something different. Expect to learn body waves, isolations, and shimmies. Think leather, spikes, fishnets, and snake-like moves to trippy beats, heavy drums, and slow metal.

✨ This workshop is for anyone who identifies as a woman — especially if you:

• Want to try bellydance but don’t relate to the usual aesthetic or music

• Love gigs, Afflecks, tattoos, and alternative fashion

• Want to meet new like-minded people and build community

• Are in your 20s, 30s or beyond and looking for a creative outlet in Manchester

🤘At the end of class, you’ll learn a short choreography rooted in bellydance technique — set to a dark, experimental, or metal-inspired track.

🖤 The class is beginner-friendly

💪🏽 We’ll warm up, move together, laugh, connect — and then head to the bar downstairs to hang out post-class 🍺 [Drinks are optional and not included]

⚡️ Please arrive 15 minutes early so we can start on time.
