We’re bringing the ultimate '80s Happy Hour Party back to Belly Up — and this one is extra special.
For each Belly Up Happy Hour, BETAMAXX and Belly Up partner with a worthy organization to give back. For this event, we are proud to support the Sugar Bear Foundation, an incredible nonprofit dedicated to supporting Gold Star families — the spouses and children of fallen U.S. military service members.
The Sugar Bear Foundation was established in honor of Lieutenant Colonel Mario “Sugar Bear” Carazo, who gave his life in Afghanistan on July 22, 2010, while conducting combat operations. Mario was a beloved classmate of BETAMAXX band leader Eric Valenzuela at the U.S. Naval Academy, Class of 1991.
The foundation continues Mario’s legacy of service by providing educational, career, and financial literacy support to Gold Star/Surviving Spouses and children, ensuring these families are empowered to thrive.
🎗️ A portion of the evening's ticket sales will be donated to the Sugar Bear Foundation.
This show is designed for fans who love the energy of an evening out, but still want to be home at a reasonable time.
Doors open at 5:00 PM, BETAMAXX hits the stage from 5:30 PM to 7:45 PM, and doors close at 8:00 PM.
