NAJMAH NOUR BIONajmah Nour is a Bellydance and Flamenco Fusion Dance instructor known for her soulful, intuitive approach to movement. With over 35 years of experience in bellydance, and training in other dance forms including flamenco, she brings depth, musicality, and embodied wisdom to her teaching. Drawing from traditional technique alongside expressive and healing practices, Najmah encourages dancers to move with awareness, softness, and intention.
Throughout her career, Najmah has been featured on the Today Show and highlighted in dance and lifestyle magazines, sharing her artistry with wide audiences while remaining deeply rooted in the personal, transformative power of movement. Her classes offer a supportive space for dancers to strengthen their bodies, deepen their confidence, and rediscover the pleasure of moving from the heart.

DANCING WITH INTENTION

Join Najmah for a workshop dedicated to building confidence through dance — not chasing perfection. Discover what happens when you slow down and truly listen to what your body is telling you. Movement becomes richer, more expressive, and unmistakably yours. This is a supportive space to explore, feel, and reconnect with your own dance, allowing confidence to emerge naturally from within.
In this workshop, we will focus on:
*Weight shifts and grounded transitions
*Slowing down for clarity and control
*Expressive use of the hands and arms
*Dancing with intention
*Storytelling through movement
*Traveling steps for flow and presence
*Dynamic contrast
Please bring silk veils because they may be used as a tool in class to help enhance expression and body awareness.
FLAMENCO FUSION: FIRE MEETS FLOW

Experience the best of two powerful dance traditions in one unforgettable workshop. In this dynamic flamenco fusion session, you'll learn a short, expressive choreography that blends the fierce strength and confidence of flamenco with the sensual fluidity of belly dance.
Together we'll explore grounded, rhythmic barefoot footwork, dramatic skirt work, and the art of storytelling through expressive arms, hands, and body isolations. Every movement is rooted in posture, presence, and emotion — helping you tap into a bold, captivating style that feels as good as it looks.
No prior flamenco or belly dance experience required — just a willingness to move, express, and have fun.
Please bring skirts to put on in the second half of the workshop,

In conjunction with Farfesha belly dance, we are excited to present Najmah Nour as our featured performer for our evening show.
Workshop participants can sign up for performance spots in our evening show on a first-come, first-serve basis. Performance spots are limited.
WANT TO PERFORM IN OUR EVENING SHOW?
All workshop participants are eligible to perform in our evening showcase.
Performance spots are first come, first serve and they are limited.
Soloists are limited to 4 minutes and troupes are limited to 5 minutes.

1. Name (both dance and non-dance)
2. Are you using props--if so, what are they?
3. If multiple people, please send all the names of performers
4. A promotional photo
5. Music if you have it already, however if you don't I will reach out closer to the date with the music request (mp3 format please)
