BellFest! is an annual ringing festival for handbell ensembles and a terrific way to perk up after a long Minnesota winter. Up to 35 handbell ensembles and all of their ringing equipment will gather on a Saturday to ring under the direction of a noted clinician. This year we have the privilege of having Bells of the Lakes' own, Bill Mathis direct at the podium. The repertoire, learned ahead of time, is rehearsed in this massed setting, and will be performed in a concert for the public in the afternoon.
BellFest!2025 will be on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at North Heights Lutheran Church in Arden Hills. Community, church ensembles, and individual ringers are invited to participate!
Ensembles will have an opportunity to perform solo pieces during the afternoon concert. That concert begins at 3:00 p.m. (doors will open at 2:35 p.m.). It’s not a contest – it’s a sharing time! Consider adding this fun to your day!
*Early Bird Registration is $35/person NOW until December 20th*
After December 20, the cost is $40/person.
Lunch is $14/person.
