We are so excited to welcome Goran Krivokapić to the BC International Guitar Series this season! Hailed as "one of the most sought-after guitarists of today" by Medici TV, Goran Krivokapić is a Montenegro-born guitarist celebrated for his technical brilliance, musical imagination, and passionate commitment to expanding the guitar's repertoire through transcriptions and collaboration with living composers.A winner of nineteen international competitions — including the Guitar Foundation of America (2004) and the prestigious Michele Pittaluga and Andrés Segovia competitions — Krivokapić has performed in iconic venues worldwide, from Amsterdam's Concertgebouw to Moscow's Tchaikovsky Hall. He has appeared as soloist with major orchestras on six continents and recorded acclaimed albums for Naxos, including the complete Bach English Suites with the Montenegrin Guitar Duo, praised by Gramophone and American Record Guide.
A sought-after educator, he holds professorships at the Cologne and Detmold Universities of Music and has given masterclasses at leading conservatories worldwide.

Parking
Bellevue College requires parking permits at all times, 24/7. Visitors can purchase a daily permit from the parking meter located just outside Carlson Theatre. Additional parking meters are available in Lots 12 and 16, on the north side of the Gym, on the first floor of the Parking Garage near the elevators, and outside the Public Safety office (B132).
With a valid daily parking permit, visitors may park in any daily, general, or student parking lot on campus. For the closest access to Carlson Theatre, we recommend parking in Lots 14 or 12.
