The 15th annual Bell County Senior Expo has almost tripled in size in 3 years going from 90 vendors in a 15,000 sq. ft. venue to 250 vendors in a 55,000 sq. ft. We had 4,759 guests last year who entered to win a 5 day CRUISE at the Mariposa @Scott & White Blvd. booth and voted for their favorite booth to be entered to win a $1200+ Grand Prize with gift cards for dining, shopping, entertainment, pampering & automotive care.
This is truly an amazing event for all senior citizens, those who love seniors, and anyone aspiring to be a senior someday. Free, fun & informational for all ages! All the resources you didn't know were available under 1 roof.
1st Cavalry Division Band will be there to salute our Veterans and celebrate 250 years of the Army, Marines & Navy's Courage and Sacrifice.
I'm hoping to secure the 1st Cavalry Division Horse Cavalry Detachment for a show. And if I can pull it off, I'll get some wagons to help transport seniors from their cars to the venue. � We'll have friends driving golf carts again at the very least. Aisles are 10 feet wide, so plenty of room for walkers, wheelchairs & scooters. Plenty of chairs to rest in. I know me and Rosa will need a burger from the concession stands and some place to rest around 10:30.
We'll have speakers and entertainers and most vendors will dress up and decorate their booths for the military theme. We keep pressure down & fun up! We don't allow any kind of selling, money exchange, or signing of contracts. We want to show our Senior Citizens all of their options in a variety of industries so they're able to go home & make an informed decision on what is their perfect fit.
Thank you to everyone who has given us their support, business & friendship over the past 15 years. The fact that we have vendors, sponsors & guests that have been with us all 15 years is an attestment to how wonderful this event is. The founding ladies of this event saw a Senior Expo in San Angelo and knew we needed an event like that here. You have made this event grow into an absolutely amazing event and have given us the opportunity to add another event!!
The inaugural Heart of Texas Senior Expo will be in Waco at the BASE at Extraco Events Center on March 17th from 8a-1p! Put that date in your calendar! Can't wait to see you!
