Born in Brisbane and trained in Melbourne under jazz legends like ๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ง ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฐ๐ง, ๐๐จ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ซ๐ ๐ซ๐๐๐ง, and ๐๐๐ซ๐ฒ ๐๐จ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐จ, she built her chops on a foundation of improvisation and fearless composition โ and then took it global.
She spent 15 years based in Asia, touring across Southeast Asia, Japan, Australia, and Europe. Along the way, she shared the stage with ๐๐๐ซ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐๐ฌ๐ ๐๐ข๐ง๐จ, ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ฌ ๐๐จ๐จ๐๐ฒ, ๐๐ซ๐ง๐ข๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐ญ๐ฌ, and ๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ค ๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฐ๐๐ง๐ญ๐จ. She also logged a decade performing with jazz vocalist ๐๐๐ซ๐ฆ๐๐ง ๐๐ซ๐๐๐๐จ๐ซ๐.
Now based in New Orleans, she leads the ๐๐ฒ๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฎ ๐ ๐ผ๐ผ๐ฑ๐ ๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ฝ โ a band that channels her years of travel and experience into a sound thatโs rooted, adventurous, and always in the moment. Itโs jazz that stretches out, pulls you in, and never plays it safe. ๐ท๐๐ถ
