Believe Your Own Hype
About this Event
You worked hard. You accomplished the thing. So why does your brain immediately jump to what you could have done better? In a culture of constant networking, constantly reaching - is it possible to truly settle into the accomplishments you have?
Join the Dallas Junior Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with HEXA Innovation Center, for an interactive professional development workshop led by Marissa Moyer, imposter syndrome expert and founder of The High Potential Movement.
Marissa will take us beyond the usual “just believe in yourself” advice to explore why ambitious professionals can achieve incredible things and still struggle to feel like they’re doing enough.
Using the Belief Pyramid, we’ll unpack some of the deeper beliefs that fuel self-doubt, perfectionism, anxiety, and constant self-criticism — and look at how those patterns can keep us from fully recognizing our own growth.
You’ll walk away with a better understanding of:
- Why accomplishments can still feel like they’re “not enough”
- How focusing too heavily on weaknesses can actually limit growth
- What a true growth mindset looks like
- How to better recognize and build on your strengths, progress, and potential
An event back by popular demand. Come ready to network, participate, and probably rethink the way you measure your own success.
