Join us for a full night of anime bangers, cosplay, cocktails, and chaos as we take over The Bot’s Top Floor nightclub for the Belfast Anime Disco! Expect an electrifying mix of anime tunes, dazzling lights, and unforgettable vibes surrounded by people LIKE YOU! Last time we had 250+ people!!

💥 Anime Tunes All Night!
From Evangelion and DragonBall Z to Tokyo Ghoul, Naruto, and AMV classics, we’re spinning anime hits from every generation, from 80s nostalgia to modern openings! Requests are welcome on the night!
🎭 Cosplay Contest!
Show off your best cosplay on stage for a chance to win prizes and bragging rights! ✨
Cosplay is encouraged (but not required). Please remember: Cosplay ≠ Consent, always ask before taking photos.
📸 Event Photography
We’ll have official photographers capturing the energy all night! Expect candid photos, group shots, and some epic action poses.

Outside food and drink are not permitted, including items purchased from nearby venues.
🔞 Age and ID
This is strictly an 18+ event in a licensed nightclub. Valid photographic ID is required.

By purchasing, accepting or using a ticket, you agree to follow the Belfast Anime Disco Attendee Policy and Terms of Entry, along with reasonable instructions from venue staff and security.

🎭 Costume Policy
Cosplay is encouraged, but costumes must remain secure and provide opaque coverage comparable to ordinary public swimwear while standing, sitting, walking and dancing.
If an outfit shifts or loses coverage, staff may ask you to adjust or cover it. Entry may be refused, or you may be asked to leave, if the issue is not corrected.
🤝 Consent and Behaviour
Cosplay is not consent. Do not touch, kiss, follow, corner, repeatedly approach or take a close-up photograph of someone without clear permission.
If someone says no, moves away, disengages or asks you to stop, stop immediately. Harassment, unwanted contact or repeatedly ignoring someone’s boundaries may result in removal.
Different communication styles, limited eye contact, disability, neurodivergence or attending alone are not misconduct. Staff will respond to specific behaviour and whether boundaries have been respected.
📸 Official Photography and Video
Official photography and video will take place throughout the event. By purchasing or using a ticket and entering the event, you acknowledge that you may appear in crowd, stage or promotional images.
You may tell an official photographer if you do not want a posed or close-up photograph, but we cannot guarantee that you will not appear in crowd or background images.
If an image appears on a channel we control, you may contact us to request its removal. We will remove it where reasonably possible, but we cannot remove copies that have already been downloaded, reposted or shared elsewhere.
📱 Personal Photography
Casual crowd photography and short videos are welcome. Ask before taking a posed, close-up or individual photograph of another attendee.
Buying a ticket does not give attendees permission to photograph or record other people without their agreement.
⚔️ Weapons and Cosplay Props
Real weapons are not permitted. Sharp, metal, heavy, projectile-firing, functional or otherwise dangerous items are prohibited.
Lightweight foam or cardboard cosplay props may be allowed, but they must be manageable in a crowded nightclub and must not block exits, walkways or other attendees. All props are subject to inspection, and staff or security may refuse any item they consider unsafe.
Refused items must be removed from the venue. Do not assume that the cloakroom will accept them.
👜 Bags, Coats and Cloakroom
Small bags are permitted but may be searched. Large backpacks, luggage or items that could obstruct walkways may be refused.
A cloakroom is provided and operated by The Botanic Inn behind the bar in the main disco area. The venue decides its charges, opening times and which items it will accept.
Belfast Nerd does not operate the cloakroom or take possession of stored items. Any questions about lost or damaged belongings must be raised directly with the venue.
💡 Lighting and Effects
This is a nightclub event with loud music, flashing and strobe lighting, LED visuals, smoke machines, confetti and bubble effects. Please consider this before booking if you are sensitive to light, sound or atmospheric effects.
🪑 Facilities and Early Arrivals
Seating and toilets are available on the Top Floor. Additional toilets are available downstairs in the main bar area.
If you arrive before the event opens, the downstairs main bar has arcade machines available to play while you wait.
🛞 Accessibility
The event takes place on the Top Floor. The venue has ramps and accessible facilities, but please contact us before booking if you have specific access or mobility requirements so that arrangements can be confirmed with The Bot.
🚗 Parking and Transport
There is no dedicated event parking. On-street parking may be available nearby, subject to local restrictions.
Some public transport services may finish before the event ends at midnight. Please plan your return journey or arrange a taxi in advance.
🛡️ Security and Reporting Concerns
Professional security will be present throughout the event. If someone makes you uncomfortable, ignores your boundaries or appears to need assistance, report it to security, event staff or bar staff as soon as possible.
Staff may carry out a brief welfare check if they have a reasonable concern about someone’s safety or ability to consent. Please cooperate with these checks.
Staff can act on behaviour they witness, but reporting an incident promptly gives them the best opportunity to intervene and establish what happened.
