And so we bring you: (insert drum roll):
The Belated St Patrick's Day Classic Beer Mile!
Saturday, March 29 June 21 @ 10:01am. (Why so early? Several reasons, including Mile6 has a pop-up Breakfast food truck for you that day.)
Think Green/Greene, Irish, kilts, etc, etc.
Race start time is 10:01am.
$15+tax entry fee for when you pre-register before the day of the race.

$20+ tax at the door on the day of the race. Must be of age and sign a full waiver.
Registration will open at 9:30am day of, and will end at 9:50 for the pre-race briefing at 9:55.
We will have an N/A option (price/cost to be determined - will update later).
The Beer Mile starts and ends at the front door of Mile6 Taproom. Look for the SBCA/SBC tent!
RULES:
1. 4 "laps"/out-and-backs on the trail. A full 12oz can of (5.0% or more SBC canned beer) BEFORE each "lap". The start and finish line will out front of Mile6.
2. Beer must be consumed before the "lap" is begun, within the transition area which is the 10 meter zone before the start/finish line on the ¼ mile loop.
3. No specialized cans or bottles may be used.
4. Each beer can must not be opened until the competitor enters the transition zone on each lap. Beer cans must not be tampered with in any manner.
5. Competitors who vomit before they finish the race must complete one penalty "lap" at the end of the race. Vomiting in front of any Mile6 window, where a patron could see you, and in front of any trail user not involved in the Beer Mile results in immediate disqualification and public humiliation commensurate with the horror of what you just did.
6. Tip the empty beer can over your head at the end of a chug to verify an empty vessel.
7. There are no participation medals. Unless you win something described in Number 8, below - your prize is the 4 beers you just drank.
8. There will also actually be prizes (a 6 pack – yes, you will win more beer - congrats) for the podium finishers (male and female), the Dead-Ass-Last competitor, and for the Best costumes (male and female).
