Being Human in the AI Age
About this Event
Being Human in the AI Age
Sunday, September 13, 2026 | 7:00–8:30 PM
Orchard Reformed Church | Palo Alto, CA
Free and open to everyone
Artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping the way we work, create, communicate, and understand what it means to be human. How should Christians respond—not simply with fear or excitement, but with wisdom, theological depth, and hope?
Join us at Orchard Reformed Church for an evening with Paul Taylor exploring the opportunities and challenges of AI and what Christian faith has to say about this extraordinary technological moment.
Together, we’ll consider questions like:
- How is AI changing our work and everyday lives?
- What does Christian theology tell us about human uniqueness and creativity?
- How can Christians engage emerging technology without either uncritical enthusiasm or fear?
- What might faithful presence look like in the age of AI?
There will also be time for conversation and Q&A.
Whether you work directly in technology, are trying to understand how AI is changing your profession, or are simply curious about the relationship between faith and technology, you are warmly invited.
Childcare
Free childcare will be provided for children ages 10 and under. Please indicate during registration if you will need childcare and how many children you plan to bring.
