About this Event
National Inclusion Week: Supporting Diverse Teams and Being an Inclusive Employer and Colleague
Join us for a roundtable discussion this National Inclusion Week on embedding inclusion and implementing change in your workplace, as well as sharing insights, strategies and best practices with other Cornish businesses that foster an inclusive workplace culture. Using Inclusive Employers' Six Pillars of Inclusion we will explore how to better support diverse teams, and hear about the great things you are already doing.
An inclusive workplace is one where every employee feels valued, respected, and empowered to contribute to their fullest potential, regardless of their background, identity, or circumstances whether that be ethnicity, age, gender, ability, sexual orientation or cultural background.
Evidence shows that inclusive and diverse workplaces drive innovation, enhance employee engagement, improve decision-making, and boost overall performance.
We appreciate that it can sometimes be difficult to talk about inclusion - terminology and language are constantly evolving and nobody wants to say or do the 'wrong thing'. Rest assured this is a supportive environment!
