Are you caring for an aging or infirm parent or spouse, or a child with a chronic illness? These group sessions are designed to help you to improve your mental, physical and emotional health by digging into the specific challenges brought about by this role. The facilitator, a fellow caregiver, will listen, ask questions, share pertinent experiences, and lead exercises designed to reduce stress, boost resilience and ultimately prevent burnout.
The group setting allows participants to learn from and support each other in a safe space that is free of judgement.
It's not easy to be a caregiver, but these sessions can help alleviate some of the burden. Come to one or all of them!
