Join us for a fun and interactive pre-concert lecture on Thursday, April 16 in the Center For Visual Arts Loft before the Dallas String Quartet: Strings Unleashed concert! Professor E. Edward Kawakami from Carthage College will lead a musical journey through some of the pieces you'll hear that night, making it a lively and engaging conversation that will bring the music to life. Expect plenty of insights, context, and a chance to dive into the program in a way that will make your concert experience even more exciting! Doors open at 6:15 PM, and the lecture kicks off at 6:30 PM.Part of The Grand's Community Engagement series, this event is free and open to the public. Space is limited. Please register in advance.
