Join the Director of the JHU Museums for a deep dive into the work spaces of historic Evergreen.
During this tour, participants will explore how the design of Evergreen evolved to accommodate a growing number of domestic laborers; discuss how the house functioned as a workspace; and gain insights into the labor force who lived at Evergreen over the course of close to a century. This tour will take guests “behind the scenes” at the museum into areas not typically shown on museum tours.
Participants must be able to navigate stairs and narrow hallways.
