What does it take to prepare one of the most iconic ballet productions of the holiday season?
Versara Learning Collective is taking students behind the scenes at Orlando Ballet for a unique educational experience where they will observe professional dancers during an in-studio rehearsal of The Nutcracker.
Instead of seeing only the finished performance, students will get a rare look at the work, discipline, collaboration, choreography, artistic direction, and preparation that happen before the curtain ever rises.
🔎 Part of Our Industry Explorer Series
Students will have the opportunity to:
• Observe professional Orlando Ballet dancers during rehearsal
• Discover how choreography is developed and refined
• See professional expectations, discipline, teamwork, and artistic direction in action
• Explore careers within the performing arts industry
• Learn about the people and work behind a professional production
• Potentially tour the Harriett's Orlando Ballet Centre, based on availability
• Potentially participate in additional learning opportunities with Orlando Ballet staff, based on availability

Each registered student will also receive:

💛 About the Versara Program Fee
Orlando Ballet is generously providing the in-studio rehearsal experience to our group at no admission cost.
Versara's registration fee supports the planning, coordination, administration, insurance, and educational materials associated with organizing and providing this educational experience for participating homeschool families.
The registration fee is paid to Versara Learning Collective for its educational program and services and is not an admission fee charged by Orlando Ballet.
⚠️ Space is extremely limited. Advance registration is required.
