What mask do we show to the outside world – to family, friends, employers, employees? This course explores the concept of wearing different “masks” and why we feel the need to do so. We embark on a creative and explorative journey to discover the practices of living authentically and broadening our perspectives into mindfully accepting our true self. Course Objectives
1.Reflect upon the different masks we wear and why we wear them.
2.Explore the concept of authenticity, character strengths and personal values.
3.Create an artistic expression of what our masks look like to us.
4.Introduce other ways to build a greater sense of connection to our self and how to implement living authentically in daily life
Course Requirements
Online sessions will be delivered via Zoom. You'll require access to a compatible device and Zoom account.
Face-to-face sessions will be delivered in-person at the venue listed.
This course may involve the use of glue or paint, so, if possible, please wear comfortable clothes you don't mind getting messy. You're encouraged to bring a water bottle, pen/pencil and notebook/journal, if possible.
Please note that refreshments are not provided.
