About this Event

Hey Ottawa – Have you ever found romance at the library?

On March 26, 2026, at 7:00 PM, join authors Ruby Barrett, Roselle Lim, and K.A. Tucker for a fun evening chatting about all things romance. The panel will be moderated by fellow romance writer Jennifer Whiteford.

Romance is frequently one of the most popular genres at the Ottawa Public LIbrary and it’s finding new fans all the time. What does it take to write a romance novel? What do these authors love about the genre? Please join us for a lively discussion to find out!

A Q&A with the audience and book signing to follow. Bring your own copy or purchase one on site.

Feeling crafty? Beading kits will be available after the talk if you’d like to make yourself (or your crush?) a keychain or bracelet.

Our friends from The Spaniel’s Tale bookstore will be on hand selling the author's books and fun romance-related swag.

Visit the Bayview Yards website for more information about parking and transit options. Free parking is available on-site.

Ottawa Public Library is committed to ensuring that all programs are accessible to everyone. If you need assistance registering for this program or require specific accommodations to participate, please contact us.

Roselle Lim

K.A. Tucker
