As AI becomes increasingly embedded in legal practice and business decision-making, the focus is shifting from whether organisations should adopt AI to how they can do so responsibly. Two issues, in particular, have emerged as fundamental: ensuring there is a clear and reliable audit trail explaining how AI-assisted decisions are reached, and protecting confidential and sensitive information throughout that process. These questions go to the heart of trust, accountability and governance, and are becoming increasingly relevant across all sectors.
