Beginning Watercolor with Mary PeschTuesdays, June 9 & 16: 6-8:30 pm
Learn to paint a floral using traditional watercolor paints. The techniques of bleeding colors, masking, wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry will be demonstrated. Step-by-step worksheets and outline drawings of the subjects will be provided to each student to aid in learning. It’s an encouraging environment and all skill levels are welcome. Some supplies are provided, students should bring Water Color Paper (Strathmore or Blick, 9 x 12, cold press Block (bound on 4 sides prevents warping) OR Spiral Notebook and Sketch Clip Board, 15x16, (used to tape down paper to prevent warping) and Water color Brushes—Winsor & Newton, Cotman (student version) set of round brushes containing range of sizes (suggestion) 0, 2, 4, 6 and ¼” flat.
