This class runs 5 weeks, October 13 - November 10, Monday's from 6:30-7:30pm. Registration available at fencewmfa.com!
Comprehensive introduction to the sport of Olympic fencing geared toward participants with no prior fencing experience. The course is taught by experienced fencing coaches and initially
covers safety and etiquette, familiarization with fencing equipment, and rules of the sport.
Weekly classes progress through basic stances and footwork, bladework, and simple tactics. Participants will have to opportunity to bout extensively and will acquire the skills necessary to try electric Epee fencing at the conclusion of the course.
