Bat Season 2026 starts May 1st! With May 1st being a Friday, tickets will be available for both upper and lower viewing. As a reminder, PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED in the park/in the viewing areas for the safety of them and the bats.Lower viewing is Thursday-Sunday, $5/person for all attendees, 4 years and older are only allowed in the lower viewing area
Upper viewing is available every night, $2/person for all attendees, all ages are welcome.
Tickets are not available as of 2.3.2026 but are bought online at texasstateparks.org/oldtunnel Tickets must be prepurchase, as the park does not handle money/payments. QR codes are available at the park, but service is sparce and not guaranteed. Tickets will be available around March 2nd to purchase.
