Have you always wanted to learn how to crochet but didn’t know where to start? Join us for a fun, relaxed, and inspiring Beginning Crochet Class held right in the heart of Old Towne Orange’s historic Circle.
On Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 10:30 AM–12:30 PM, you’ll be guided step-by-step through the foundational skills of crochet in a welcoming art studio setting. Whether you’re brand new or have tried before and felt stuck, this class is designed to make crochet feel approachable, clear, and enjoyable.
You’ll learn:
How to create a foundation chain
Single crochet
Half-double crochet
Double crochet
Treble crochet
How to read crochet instructions and common abbreviations, so patterns finally make sense
Using a large projector screen, I’ll personally demonstrate each stitch in real time, making it easy to follow along no matter where you’re seated. You’ll get hands-on help, clear visuals, and plenty of encouragement as you build confidence stitch by stitch.
Class Fee: $45
Supply Options:
Bring your own supplies (various sizes of crochet hooks and yarn), or
Purchase a $15 supply kit at registration for a stress-free start (Supplies include 14 crochet hooks, various yarn sewing needles, yarn markers, yarn scissors and yarn)
