We’ll talk about what to look for when identifying birds, practice how to focus binoculars and compare different styles of field guides. Then we’ll head out on a hike to try out our identification skills.
If you have binoculars and a favorite field guide, bring them; otherwise, we will have a few to share. Prior to the program, you may wish to download the free Merlin Bird ID app to your phone.
