About this Event
Welcome to the last art class you'll ever join.
Each month, we meet at The Phoenix, Victoria for a relaxed and welcoming watercolour painting class led by professional artist China Jordan. Whether you're picking up a paintbrush for the first time or looking to improve your existing skills, you'll be guided through a new watercolour project every month.
Enjoy a complimentary drink, all materials provided, and step-by-step tuition that helps you create artwork you'll be genuinely proud of.
Our classes are designed to help you switch off from work, take time for yourself and build confidence in your creativity in a supportive environment.
Do I Need Any Experience?
Not at all.
Our watercolour classes are suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some painting experience. Every session is taught step-by-step, making it easy to follow along at your own pace.
We believe everyone can learn to paint. Our goal is to help you understand watercolour techniques, enjoy the creative process and leave each class feeling more confident than when you arrived.

What Will I Learn?
Every month focuses on a different subject, helping you steadily build your watercolour skills and artistic confidence.
Topics may include:
- Landscapes
- Flowers and botanical painting
- Animals and wildlife
- Seasonal artwork
- Colour mixing
- Watercolour washes
- Wet-on-wet techniques
- Layering and glazing
- Creating light and texture
By attending regularly, you'll develop a portfolio of artwork while learning new techniques and styles throughout the year.
Meet Your Tutor
China Jordan is a professional artist with over 20 years of artistic experience and the founder of ArtistAnd, a creative wellbeing company established in 2019.
ArtistAnd helps people improve their wellbeing, confidence and creativity through accessible art classes, workshops and corporate events. Classes are designed to be inclusive, encouraging and suitable for all abilities.

Cancellation Policy
If you cannot attend, please provide at least 72 hours' notice and we'll do our best to help you move your booking to another available session.
As places are limited and classes frequently sell out, refunds are not available.

Info: We'll strat with a warm-up exercise to try and loosen you all up and get ready for the main painting!

Info: We'll spend a good amount of time drawing a masterpiece, and when I say masterpiece, I mean MASTERPIECE! Your tutor will be there to help guide you so you walk away happy with what you created.

Info: We'll have a quick nosey around the tables to see what everyone got up to, then we'll take a group shot and allow you to either stay for a drink, or head onto your next destination! :)
