These classes for those 12+ are held on the second Saturday of every month as an ongoing introduction to watercolors by veteran Artist and Locals Art Space Member, Maryann Goodwin.
No previous experience is necessary.
Each class will focus on a different technique.
“Paint a Winter Wonderland” is the theme for the December class. Award winning watercolor artist, MaryAnn Goodwin will guide beginners to paint a magical winter scene. Techniques such as washes and wet in wet, will be demonstrated; splattering and metallic, iridescent watercolor will be used.
Students are encouraged to bring their own supplies (brushes, paints, watercolor paper or other medium), otherwise the gallery can provide the basics.
Participants have their questions answered, gain experience with veteran guidance, learn about the gallery and meet other local artists.
Payment via Zeffy or in person, but you must call the Gallery if paying in person, otherwise your seat will not be guaranteed.
