I’d love to welcome you to one of my one day (10 am to 3 pm) ‘Upholstery Workshops’ in the relaxed and friendly environment at South Ribble Tennis & Fitness Centre, Bamber Bridge, Preston.
Learn the wonderful craft of upholstery (no previous experience needed) by making and upholstering a lovely footstool from scratch in one day to take home with you whilst making some new like minded friends in a relaxed, supportive and beautiful environment. The workshop is ideal for complete beginners, or for people who have tried their hand at upholstery previously and would like to expand their skills.
All tools, legs/feet, foams and materials to make your footstool are provided and are included in the price except bring a 1 metre square piece of your favourite fabric to cover your footstool.
I will be there every step of the way to guide you and take you through the process at your pace. With such a small group, there is plenty of time for one to one discussion. Full workshop notes on techniques, tools and materials and where to buy will be provided.
After the workshop you will be able to upholster many of your own pieces at home having learned all about the tools, foams, materials, folds, finishings etc.
The price includes lovely homemade cakes, cream scones, biscuits, tea and coffee throughout the day.
