ABOUT THE WEEKENDA two day surfing course for beginners.
Learn to surf alongside a group of people looking to fast-track their surfing progression in this structured two day course.
Over the weekend course you'll be taken through our unique progression pathway, learning everything you need to know to progress quickly & safely.
All taught by our world class instructors.

SKILL LEVEL
You are a beginner surfer if:
-You've never surfed before.
-Only surfed a handful of times.
-You surf exclusively in the whitewater.
-Struggle to get to your feet consistently.
-Need assistance to master the basics: Paddling, Popping to your feet, etc.
We follow the Surfing Made Simple curriculum which has been designed for the beginner in mind.
We start things off with the absolute basics, incrementally building on that knowledge step by step as we go.
With each step building on the last, by the end of the weekend you'll have all the skills you need to surf successfully, with a solid foundation from which to improve.
Skills you'll have with you for life.
Over the weekend you'll learn all the vital skills and techniques to:
-How to select and catch waves unassisted in the white water.
-How to stall and accelerate the board.
-Master the 'Aussie Pop Up' method.
-The proper stance which will allow you to perform turns and progress onto catching unbroken waves.
-Turning left and right in the white water.
-Learn the four techniques to navigate through the waves.
-How to paddle with more propulsion and less resistance.
-Understand etiquette and know how to confidently and safely deal with any situation which may present itself to you.
