Looking for a creative hobby, keen to learn a new skill, or simply fancy an evening away from the screen? Come and join us for a relaxed, welcoming sewing workshop where you’ll learn the basics of using a sewing machine and leave with something you’ve made yourself.
Perfect for complete beginners, this class is designed to give you the confidence to get started with sewing in a friendly, supportive environment. We’ll guide you through the essentials, from understanding your sewing machine to sewing your very first project—a handmade scrunchie!
One of the best parts? You’ll be able to choose from a selection of beautiful fabrics, so your finished scrunchie feels completely unique to you.
No experience is necessary, and all materials are included. We’ll provide sewing machines, fabric, thread, scissors and everything else you’ll need. If you already own a sewing machine, we encourage you to bring it along so you can learn on the machine you’ll be using at home (every machine works a little differently!).
This isn’t just about learning to sew—it’s about making something with your own hands, discovering a new creative skill, and meeting like-minded people in a relaxed and encouraging space. Whether you’re hoping to alter your own clothes one day, make gifts for friends and family, or simply try something new, this is the perfect place to begin.
