One of the things I've discovered over the years is that many people are interested in sewing, but often feel overwhelmed by where to start, worried they'll get it wrong, or assume they need to be naturally creative to enjoy it.
The truth is that sewing is simply a skill, and like any skill, it can be learned step by step.
You are invited to 'Sew with Sally' - a practical sewing course designed to help people build skills, confidence and creativity in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Sometimes we all need a little time that's just for us - a chance to put our phones down, learn something new, get creative and enjoy a couple of hours doing something completely different.
If you've ever wanted to learn to sew, I'd love to welcome you to my next Beginner Sewing Course, starting on 18th September 2026 in Melkbosstrand.
Learn how to sew through a series of practical projects while building a solid foundation in:
� Sewing machine basics
� Fabrics, needles and stitches
� Pattern layout and markings
� Working with layers and structure
� Pressing, shaping and finishing techniques
Make a new, fun (and useful) project each week to practice and show off the new skills you have learned along the way!
No experience necessary. All you need is just a few hours each week to slow down, learn something new and create something beautiful.
All project materials, a sewing accessory kit (worth R350) and a full printed workbook are included.
